Job Description:

The analyst will provide direction to the statistical analysis group within the Information Resources Management Unit. At the Senior Research Analyst level, the incumbent is responsible for managing quality assurance and statistical analysis and reporting for trial and appellate court statistical databases.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direction for the design and management of specified databases, Prepare programs for data extraction and verification, Communicate with the courts to resolve reporting problems, Facilitate the transition to electronic reporting of statistical data, Prepare internal and external requests for statistical information, Manage the production of the Judicial Council Court Statistics Report and other standard statistical reports, Assist in staff selection for the Information Resources Management Unit.

The Unix Systems Administrator will have responsibility for the design, configuration and management of Parthus Technologies UNIX systems. Responsible for the day to day management, maintenance and strategic functionality of companies Corporate IT UNIX environment. We are looking for an IT professional that can demonstrate good practical experience of UNIX systems administration and management. Job Description As a member of the IT team, under the direction of the IIT Manager, you be involved in the management and ownership of the Corporate UNIX environment. Design and configuration of Unix environments, as defined in the companies Technologies technical architecture, to deliver high availability and performance. Creation and maintenance of unix engineering environments, including GNU, native compilers and configuration management systems. System monitoring, system performance reports, server positioning (upgrades).Automation of system monitoring for space usage, application uptime, system integrity etc. Definition and management of standards & policies on configuration / security / access control / data management.Managing interaction with suppliers and vendor support channels. Previous experience/qualifications Graduate or equivalent qualification in an IT / Engineering discipline. Strong technical background with proven experience in Solaris, Linux and NT environments. 4 years UNIX administration experience. Experience with NFS, Automounter, NIS, DNS, Sendmail, smb, Ldap applications, backup/recovery procedures, general system administration and system security are essential. Scripting - Bourne, C-Shell and/or Perl ability required.

Experience supporting UNIX based applications and databases. Proven track record in technical problem solving in a networking & client/server environment.

Job Description:

We are looking for people who have proven experience serving as specialists on complex projects and as a point of contact between client organizations and technical areas. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and have a proven track record of demonstrating independent judgement!. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will perform as the JBSIS application manager by providing lead direction in planning, managing, and conducting business analysis of new and enhanced JBSIS applications and other related complex automated systems. Occasional statewide overnight travel and weekend work is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide lead direction in the development, implementation, and maintenance of JBSIS applications, data repositories, batch processes, and electronic data interfaces, Assess, define, and document new JBSIS-related business and technical needs, Develop JBSIS business and system requirements and application specifications, Implement ehancements to existing JBSIS applications, including graphical reporting interfaces, electronic communications, and data transformation processes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent to the possession of a Master's degree, preferably with major course work in computer science, information systems, or a related field and a minimum of 3 yrs exp. in business/systems analysis, design, operational or system documentation and workflow analysis or process re-engineering.  Additional experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis. Possession of a directly related postgraduate degree may be substituted for 1 yr of the required experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in applying principles of systems design and development; enterprise-wide deployment, such as client/server and multi-tiered, distributed system architecture and internet/intranet based application delivery mechanisms; techniques of project management, program design, testing, anddocumentation of systems implementation; planning,  directing, and reviewing the work of others including organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating multiple
work activities; and developing effective work teams by motivating individuals to meet goals and objectives and provide customer service in the most effective manner. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Desirable programming skills include Cold Fusion, SQL,HTML, and Oracle database applications.
